ITINERARY & ACTIVITIES
Day 01 :
Arrival & Galle Exploration
- Morning: arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB).
- Meet and greet by our driver-guide, followed by a comfortable transfer to Galle (approx. 2.5 hours).
- Check in at the hotel and refresh.
- Afternoon: explore Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Portuguese and later fortified by the Dutch.
- Visit the Galle Lighthouse for ocean views.
- Stroll the colonial streets, browse boutique shops and enjoy a coffee or fresh coconut.
- Evening: relax at Unawatuna Beach or Jungle Beach.
- Seafood dinner at a beachfront restaurant (at own expense).
- Overnight stay in Galle.
Day 02 :
Whale Watching & Madu River Safari
- Early morning: depart for Mirissa for a whale watching tour to spot blue whales, sperm whales and playful dolphins, with sunrise over the Indian Ocean.
- Return to the hotel for breakfast and relaxation.
- Afternoon: Madu River boat safari through mangrove forests, looking for crocodiles, water monitors and birdlife.
- Experience fish therapy and visit a cinnamon island to learn about traditional cinnamon production.
- Evening: return to the hotel for a relaxing beach evening.
- Overnight stay in Galle.
Day 03 :
Bentota Adventure & Departure
- Morning: after breakfast, travel to Bentota, a paradise for water sports.
- Enjoy jet skiing, banana boat rides and parasailing.
- Afternoon: visit the turtle hatchery in Kosgoda to see baby turtles and learn about conservation.
- Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) for departure.
